Brikama United slipped to Wallidan 1-0 in their week-19 outing of the country’s Elite League played at the King George 5 Mini Stadium in Banjul on Saturday before coach Jallow’s resignation.
The Sateyba boys now occupy one place above relegation zone on the First Division League table with 21 points after 19 league matches.
Brikama United will contend to win their remaining league matches to stay in the country’s Elite League for another season despite their miserable performance in the league campaign.
Sheriff Jallow replaced Modou Lamin Nyassi last season after Brikama United’s woeful performance in the league season.
