Scorpions gaffer Mckinstry unveils squad ahead of Comoros AFCON scuffle

Head Coach of The Gambia senior national team Jonathan Mckinstry has unveiled a strong twenty-four (24) man squad ahead of his side’s 2025 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match against Comoros Islands on 15th November 2024.

Coach Mckinstry unveiled his squad during a press conference held at the Football House in Kanifing yesterday.

He stated that their match against Comoros Islands is very significant for The Gambia, adding that all the countries want to win their matches to qualify for the 2025 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations.

Coach Mckinstry further stated that the Scorpions created many goal scoring opportunities in their previous qualifier matches but were not clinical in front of goal.

He revealed that Musa Barrow, Abdoulie Ceesay, Ali Sowe and Alasanna Jatta are all banging goals for their respective clubs.
