The Gambia will use their match against Kuwait to prepare themselves set for the 2027 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Gaffer Jonathan Mckinstry and his Scorpions charges failed to qualify for the 2025 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 World Cup after finishing third-places in the continent's and the global biggest football showpiece qualifier groups.
It could be recalled that The Gambia qualified for the Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations twice in 2021 and 2023 respectively.
