Reug Reug earns hard-fought victory over Jobis

Reug Reug of Club Tallinding Japoo defeated Jobis of Club Ebo Town Mbolo in a dramatic grand combat held on Sunday 23rd October 2022 at the Serekunda West Mini Stadium. The combat was organised by WRG Promotion. 

Tallinding-based wrestler, Reug Reug received several punches from Jobis of Ebo Town before coming out victorious in the flag named after Hon. Babucarr Mansally, Councilor for Tallinding North Ward.

The bout started in an electric fashion with punches flying and the crowd cheering their respective wrestlers.

However, it was Reug Reug who had the last laugh by spectacularly wrestling down Jobis to the ground in 2.46 seconds and sending his fans into absolute rapturous delight.

Tapha Tine of Club Mara needed little over a minute to defeat Armeh of Club Sanchaba Ham Sa Chossan to claim the flag named after Jam Promotion. 

Boy Faal of Brikama Mbolo wrestled down Quence of Club Bundung Kai Bakh to win the flag named after Queen Jose. Bebe Biram was declared the winner against Seri Boy of Club Tallinding United while Bebe General of Club Nema Saku Ham defeated Jel of Club Banjul Japoo to win the bout flags named after MC Cham Junior and Pa Mamadi Jabour respectively.

In freestyle (mbapat) bouts; Arsenal of Club Sanchaba Ham Sa Chossan lost to Express through warning. Tapha Tine of Club Bara defeated Bebe Nyolo of Club Yundum Mbolo. Yareh of Club Serekunda Mbolo defeated Bebe Chart of Paradise Mbolo while Reug Reug of Club Saloum Mbolo wrestled down Tassayaram of Club Sukutankulu. 

The event attracted a record crowd including the Minister of Youth and Sports Hon. Bakay Y Badjie, his Deputy Permanent Secretary Musa Mbye, KMC Mayor Talib Ahmed Bensuda, Hon. Babucarr Mansally and GWA President Serign Modou Faye, among others.
