Red Scorpions grab 11th triumph in Women's League Division One

Red Scorpions have grabbed their 11th win in the 2023-2024 Gambia Football Federation Women's League Division One following their resounding 5-0 victory over Immigration FC in their week-12 match played at the Bakau Mini Stadium on Monday.

Prolific striker Kumba Kuyateh netted a hat-trick in the 11th, 52nd and 58th minute of the match while Fatoumatta Jammeh scored a brace in the 37th and 60th minute respectively.
Red Scorpions are now seven points clear at the top of the table league with 33 points after winning 11 matches and losing one.

Second-place, Berewuleng FC suffered their second defeat of league season after losing to TMT FC 2-1 on Friday.
They are now with 26 points after winning 8 matches, drawing 2 and losing two.
The Gambia Police FC drew goalless with The Gambia Armed Forces on Friday.

The Gambia Police Force FC occupy third-place on the league table with 25 point  after winning 7 matches, drawing 4 and  losing one.

Koita FC defeated Brikama United 1-0 at the Box Bar Mini Stadium on Monday.
Koita sit fourth-place on league table with 23 points after winning 7 matches, drawing 2 and losing three.
TMT FC defeated Berewuleng 2-1 at the Live Your Dreams Sports Academy in Basori on Friday.
Ma Fanta Drammeh opened the scoring for Berewuleng in the 16th minutes before Kaddijatou Jallow levelled matters for TMT FC from the penalty spot.

Sarjo Dukanda scored the winner for TMT FC in the stoppage time.
TMT FC now sit fifth-place on the league table with 21 points after winning six, drawing three and losing three.
Future Bi occupy sixth-place on the league table with 11 points after winning three matches, drawing 7  and losing 2.
Brikama United sit seventh-place on the league table with 9 points.
City Girls occupy 8th on the league table with 8 points after winning two matches, drawing two and losing 8.

Immigration FC sit ninth-place on the league table with 7 points after winning two matches, drawing one and losing 9.

The Gambia Armed Forces occupy bottom-place on the league table with 6 points after 12 league outings.
