Red Hawks on Tuesday languished in the 2021-2022 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) division two league after losing to newly-promoted side Medical FC 2-0 in their week-two clash played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.

They suffered their second defeat in the country’s second tier.

The Young Red Devils lost to B4 Kiang West 3-1 in their opening league outing before locking horns with Medical FC, who defeated Waterside FC 2-1 in their opening league fixture.

Red Hawks came for the vital three points to bounce back in the country’s second division league but lost to Medical FC to remain pointless in the new second tier campaign.

The victory moved Medical FC to second-place on the second division league table with 6 points.

BK Milan maintained their hundred percent record in the country’s second tier following their convincing 4-2 victory over newly-promoted side Wagadu FC at the Jarra-Soma Mini Stadium.

The win earned BK Milan top-spot on the second division league table with 6 points, while the Wagadu boys are still pointless after losing their two opening league outings.
