The Ministry of Youth and Sports (MoYS) has approved D15 Million budget for The Gambia, Comoros Islands and Tunisia 2025 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations qualifier matches.

The Scorpions are set to clash with Tunisia and Comoros Islands in the continent’s biennial biggest football fiesta qualifier matches on 4th and 8th September 2024 at the Stade Abdi in Morocco.

The financial support from the Ministry of Youth and Sports would boost Coach Jonathan Mckinstry and his Scorpions charges in their quest to beat both Comoros Islands and Tunisia in their two opening qualifier matches.

The Gambia will contend to win their qualifier matches to snatch qualification to the 2025 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted in Morocco.
