and sports development in both countries.
Minister Badjie highlighted The Gambia's priorities areas such as capacity-building in sports sciences, sporting infrastructure and
information technology.
According to Minister Badjie, the capacity building trainings are critical to strengthening sports locally and creating more
opportunities for young people.
Meanwhile, Badjie and Mandaviya expressed their readiness to set process into motion by signing a memorandum of understanding between the two national youth and sports ministries.
