Mckinstry unveils squad today ahead of Comoros, Tunisia brawls

Head Coach of The Gambia senior national team Jonathan Mckinstry is set to unveil his squad today, Tuesday, 28th August 2024 ahead of Comoros Islands and Tunisia 2025 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations qualifier matches.

Coach Mckinstry is expected to unveil his squad at the Football House in Kanifing at 12pm.

Mckinstry will be hoping to unveil a solid squad to play against Comoros Islands and Tunisia in the continent’s biennial biggest football fiesta qualifier matches on 4th and 8th September 2024 at Stade Abdi.

The Gambia will clash to triumph over both Comoros Islands and Tunisia in their two opening qualifier clashes to clasp the significant three points in the 2025 Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

 The Scorpions made their debut in the continent’s biennial biggest football showpiece in 2021 but were eliminated in the quarter-finals stage after slipping to Cameron 2-0.

 The Gambia made their second appearance in the Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations in 2023 but were eliminated in the group phase after losing to Senegal, Guinea Conakry and Cameroon in their group phase matches.
