Marimoo continue unbeaten run, Real suffer 1st loss in GFF League

Marimoo Pakfood have continued their unbeaten run in The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) First Division League, while Real de Banjul suffered their first loss of the season during their week-nine fixtures played on Saturday.

Marimoo Pakfood defeated Real de Banjul 1-0 away during a game played at the Lives Your Dream Sports Academy in Basori.

Yankuba Jallow scored the only goal of the game for Marimoo Pakfood during the first half to help his side collect the maximum points.
The win maintained Marimoo Pakfood on 3rd position with 17 points, one point behind Real de Banjul, who maintained top spot with 18 points.

The Gambia Armed Forces (GAF) defeated PSV Wellingara 3-0 during a game played at the Banjul KG5 Mini Stadium.

Muhammed Kissima Kandeh, Baboucarr Sanyang and Lamin M Sanneh scored for the Army during the second period, leaving PSV to continue with their struggles in the league.

The result puts GAF on 7th position with 14 points, while PSV Wellingara maintained 15th position with 5 points.

Gamtel defeated Team Rhino 1-0 during a game played at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.

Buba Jarju's 46th minute goal was all but enough to give Gamtel the maximum points.

The victory puts Gamtel on 5th position with 15 points, while Team Rhino dropped to 11th position with 11 points.
