Johanes and Golden Hands have both picked up their first victories in the 2025 Manjai 'nawettan' knockout.

A 23rd-minute own goal gave Starlight FC the lead.

Kebba Jabang restored parity for Johannes FC in the 35th minute of the match.

The victory has earned Johannes a place in the round of sixteen (16) of the Manjai knockout.

Johannes FC must win the Manjai knockout trophy to avoid play-offs next year.

The defeat saw Starlight FC out of the Manjai knockout. They will now hang their boots after their exit from the Manjai knockout.

Golden Hands thumped FC Dahaba 2-0. Substitute Bubacarr Drammeh opened the scores for Golden Hands just two minutes after his introduction into the second half.

Ebrima Suwareh scored the second goal for Golden Hands in the 40th minute of the second half.

Golden Hands were indeed spectacular in the match when goalkeeper Lamin Njie made a series of saves to keep clean sheet.

Njie also registered his first clean sheet in his first match for Golden Hands in the Manjai nawettan season.

BUFA walloped Giants 5-0 on Tuesday. Ballack defeated Brusubi Extension 2-1 on the same day.
