Liberian Top Tier side Shaita Angels have Gambian forward Kaddy Jarju on a three-year contract from Ghanaian First Division League side Ladystrikers FC.

Speaking to GFF Media from her new home in Liberia, following the finalisation of the transfer, the former Future Bi FC striker said her dream is to help her new club win the league following their triumph in the Orange cup.

I want to thank Allah for the opportunity, my coaches, fans, and most importantly my parents for the support and prayers.

I am happy to move to Shaita Angels FC. So far, everyone is welcoming, and the atmosphere is good.

I have started making new friends and interacting with members of the club, players, coaches, fans, and executives of the club," she said.

The young Gambian goal poacher, who has since joined the team for preseason training, is hoping to make an immediate impact.

"I'm expecting to make a great impact with the team, to contribute towards the success of the team. I am so optimistic that I am fully ready to represent them well and score more goals, and win the league title," she emphasized.

Jarju was full of praise for her former sides Ladystrikers and Future Bi for the trust they had in her. She scored six goals for Ladystrikers FC in the Ghanaian first division league.

On her day, Jarju is unplayable with her goalscoring exploits and work ethics.

Club president Benita Whitney Urey described Kaddy Jarju as a humble and hardworking player, adding that she's glad to have such a young talent in her club.
