King Njie’s FC and Heerenveen FC over the weekend cruised to the final of the 2023-2024 Brufut Youth and Sports Development Committee (BYSDC) ‘nawettan’ knock-out competition after winning their semi-final matches played at the Bufut Straster Football Field.

Last year’s League runners up, King Njie’s FC navigated to the final following their 4-1 post-match penalty shootouts victory over  Fatou’s Print FC after regular time ended 1-1 in their semi-final match played on Friday.

Fatou’s Print FC were impressive in the Brufut nawettan season but King Njie’s ended their hopes of clinching the Brufut knock-out competition trophy.

They will now hang their boots until next year following their exit from both the league and knock out competitions.

Heerenveen FC advanced to the final after thumping FC Luka 2-0 in their semi-final match played on Sunday.

The Chorr brothers guided Heerenveen FC to the Brufut knock-out final.

The duo scored for Heerenveen FC during the match.

Mamadi Chorr opened the scores for Heerenveen FC in the first half before his brother Abdoukarim Chorr extended their lead in the second half, leaving the fans of Luka FC disappointed.

Heerenveen FC were also left disappointed after their elimination from the Brufut nawettan league competition.

Heerenveen FC will clash to register success in this year’s Brufut nawettan knock-out competition.
