The head coach of Berewuleng FC, Fakebba Saine, has stated that he told his players to kill Yakarr FC before they grow.

Coach Fakebba Saine was speaking to reporters shortly after his side’s 4-0 win over Yakarr FC in their 2023-2024 women’s FF cup semi-final match played at the Box Bar Mini Stadium recently.

He revealed that he told his players to also relax and concentrate on the game, which he said was exactly manifested.

Coach Saine revealed that they are going to respect their opponent Red Scorpion in the FF cup final.

He further revealed that Red Scorpions are a big team in the country.

‘‘Red Scorpion are a big team in The Gambia. So we are going to prepare ourselves fit enough for the FF cup final.

‘‘We have special approach for the final and it is different from a league game,’’ Coach Said.

Reacting to his goal machine Sarah Jarju, Coach Fakebba Saine stated that Sarah is somebody who works very hard to score goals, adding that she had a knock during training.

Coach Saine applauded his midfield sensation Fatou Jatta who she described as a player that developed rapidly.

He revealed that Fatou deserves to be a starter, adding that she had been part of first 11 for more than two three matches.

Head coach of Yakarr FC, Sheriffo Touray, noted that playing against a very experienced side competing in the first division league is hard.

Touray revealed that their defeat against Berewuleng FC in the FF cup semi-final match was their second defeat in the 2023-2024 league season.

‘‘We almost won 17 matches in the 2023-2024 league campaign,’’ Coach Touray pointed out.

The 2024 FF Cup between Red Scorpions and Berewuleng set for 30th June 2024.
