Kaku Utd lift Late Modou Janneh Memorial tourney trophy

Kaku United FC on Saturday beat Tech World FC 1-0 in a well-attended final played at the Gunjur Upper Basic School Football Field to lift the 2021-2022 Late Modou Janneh Memorial inter-mediate football tournament trophy.

The Kaku boys made a flying start to the match and crafted numerous goal scoring opportunities.

Kaku United FC opened the scores through prolific striker Ebrima Janneh in the 39th minute of the match from close range strike which eventually proved to be a winner for the Gunjur Sanchaba based-club.

Tech World FC responded for an equaliser and created some clear goal scoring opportunities but failed to capitalise on them thus the match ended 1-0 in favour of Kaku United FC.

As champions, Kaku United FC received a giant trophy and an undisclosed cash prize while Tech World FC received an undisclosed cash prize as the runners-up.

Bai Manneh of Tech World FC received a certificate as the best player of the 2021-2022 Late Modou Janneh Memorial inter-mediate football tournament following his sterling performance with the Gunjur Jujuba based-club.

Ebrima Janneh of Kaku United FC received a certificate as the leading goal scorer of the 2021-2022 Late Modou Janneh Memorial football tournament after scoring stunning goals for the Gunjur Sanchaba based-club.

Ous Bass of Kaku United FC received a certificate as the best goalkeeper of the 2021-2022 Late Modou Janneh Memorial inter-mediate football tournament following his outstanding performance with the Gunjur Sanchaba based-club.
