Juventus wrecks Barrow’s Bologna Europa League qualification hopes

Jun 24, 2020, 2:34 PM | Article By: Lamin Darboe

Juventus Football Club has destroyed Gambian youngster Musa Barrow’s Bologna Football Club chances of qualifying for the 2020-2021 UEFA Europa League.

The Turin giant thumped Barrow’s Bologna 2-0 in the 2019-2020 Serie A match, played on Monday following the resumption of Italian top flight league after covid-19 halted the league campaign in March.

He and his Bologna side were among the clubs vying for a spot in the Europe second tier football clubs competition next season prior to their match with Juventus, who were topping the Serie A standings.

Barrow and his Bologna club came all out for the vital three points to bolster their chances of qualifying for the UEFA Europa League next season but slipped to Juventus.

Meanwhile, Musa Barrow and his Bologna side now need to win their remaining games and hope teams above them in the league standing lose their remaining league matches to qualify for UEFA Europa League next season.
