Hart FC suffer another setback

The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League leaders, Hart FC were on Friday held to a barren goalless draw by Kanifing East FC during their week twenty-one fixture played at the Bakau Mini Stadium.

The Lower River Region (LRR) based team, who are in fine form suffered their second consecutive draw in their title chase.

The Kanifing Estate boys on the other hand continue their inconsistent form in the league.

The current league leaders have now suffered their eighth draw of the season, while the Eastern boys suffered their tenth draw of the league.

Hart FC overall gathered eleven wins, eight draws and suffered two defeats in 21 matches, while Kanifing East overall recorded five triumphs, 10 draws and suffered six losses in 21 games.

The draw maintains Hart FC at the top of the table standings with 41 points, while Kanifing East occupy 11^th position with 25 points.
