Gunjur Utd snatch slender triumph over Steve Biko in pre-season friendly

Gunjur United on Friday secured a slender 2-1 win over Steve Biko in a pre-season friendly match played at the Gunjur Nyamina Mini Stadium.

The Coastal Boys drew 1-1 with Real de Banjul and Greater Tomorrow in their previous pre-season friendly clashes before facing Bakau Giant Killers.

Gunjur United scored two goals midway into the first half.

Steve Biko scored one goal before half time, which eventually proved to be a consolation for the Bakau Giant Killers.

Gunjur United will now play against BST Galaxy in their next pre-season friendly encounter on Friday 7th November 2025 at the Gunjur Nyamina Mini Stadium at 4.30pm.
