Gunjur sail to KSD tourney quarter-finals

Gunjur on Friday navigated to the quarter-finals of the on-going Kombo South District (KSD) football tournament following their 2-0 win over Kachumeh in their second round match played at the Sanyang Football Field.

The Coastal Town boys scored two goals in the match without Kachumeh responding to sail to the last eight of Kombo South District biggest football fiesta.

Gunjur will now play against Sifoe in the quarter-finals of the on-going Kombo South District biggest football jamboree.

The defeat saw Kachumeh out of Kombo South District football tournament and will now hang their boots until next year.

Tujereng, Tanji, Jambur, Kartong and Nyofelleh all advanced to the quarter-finals of Kombo South District football tournament after winning their second round matches.
