The well-contended match saw both teams display skillful and exciting performances that ended in a goalless draw after full-time play.
Mustapha Saho, Golden FC’s Goalkeeper, was named and awarded “Man of The Match” after saving two critical penalty shots that made Golden FC to be the first team to make it to the semifinals.
Speaking to Pointsport, head coach for Golden FC, Yusupha Bah alias Sallah Benz, once again commended the players for qualifying to the semifinals even though they were handicapped by the absence of most key players.
Mr Bah expressed delight over the players’ wonderful and skillful performance during the match. He also thanked the technical staff, fans, supporters and well-wishers for their contribution towards the successful and progressive performance of the team.
