Gunjur United winger Moses Jatta has been dropped from The Gambia U-20 final screening exercise, while net-minder Muhammed Touray shortlisted.

Jatta     was called to the country’s cadet team screening exercise following his excellent performance for Gunjur United in the 2023-2024 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division Two League.

He scored many vital goals for the Coastal Town boys in the country’s Second Tier.

Jatta netted a hat-trick for Gunjur United in their resounding 3-0 victory over Jarra West in their Second Division League match played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium.

Custodian Muhammed Touray will scuffle to impress Coach Abdoulie Bojang during the final screening exercise to secure a place in The Gambia U-20 provisional squad.

Meanwhile, Coach Abdoulie Bojang will be hoping to assemble a formidable squad to represent The Gambia in the 2024 WAFU Zone A U-20 football tournament to be hosted in Liberia in September 2024.
