Gambia U-20 amplify preparations for Africa U-20 Youth Championship

The Young Scorpions are currently stretching their muscles for the continent’s bi-annual cadet biggest football showpiece at the National Technical Training Centre in Old Yundum.

Budding striker Yankuba Minteh, combative midfielder Tijan Marreh and prolific striker Kajali Drammeh are all set to join The Gambia U-20 team for the 2023 Total Energies Africa U-20 Youth Championship following their sterling performances with their respective clubs.

The trio will help The Gambia U-20 team during the 2023 Total Energies Africa U-20 Youth Championship.

The Gambia U-20 team will combat to reach the semi-finals of the continent’s junior biggest football fiesta to secure qualification to the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup to be staged in Indonesia.

The Young Scorpions have been drawn against Tunisia, Benin and Zambia in Group C of the 2023 Total Energies Africa U-20 Youth Championship.
