The Gambia Football Federation through the Ministry of Youths and Sports have arranged two international friendly matches for the Scorpions of The Gambia in September, ahead of their debut Total Energies Africa Cup of Nations to be hosted in Cameroon next year.

The Gambia will first take on Seychelles on September 4th before squaring off against fellow 2021 Africa Cup of Nations debutants, Comoros Island three days later, on September 7, 2021.

The Scorpions will use the double ties against the East African nations to hone their skills and also prepare themselves better for the CAF Elite national football tournament.

The National Team will be based in Comoros Island for the two international friendly engagements.

The Gambia are in Group F alongside Mauritania, Mali and Tunisia for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
