Ebrima Camara set for Olympic debut tomorrow

Ebrima Camara, Gambia’s 100 metres athlete will make his debut Olympic Games race tomorrow, Saturday at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games when he takes to the tracks.
The Gambia will first take on Seychelles on September 4th before squaring off against fellow 2021 Africa Cup of Nations debutants, Comoros Island three days later, on September 7, 2021.
The Scorpions will use the double ties against the East African nations to hone their skills and also prepare themselves better for the CAF Elite national football tournament.
The National Team will be based in Comoros Island for the two international friendly engagements.
The Gambia are in Group F alongside Mauritania, Mali and Tunisia for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Gambia senior national team on Monday finished top spot in Group D of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations despite their 1-0 away defeat to Democratic Republic of Congo in their final group match played in Kinshasa.

The Gambia Amputee Football Team last Saturday received a big boost during their first training session after a long break. One set of football jerseys, seventeen knee guards and D10,000 were distributed at the team’s training at Palm Rima Beach were they conduct their weekly trainings.
