The Gambia snatched qualification to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations after finishing second-place in Group G of the continent’s biennial qualifiers with 10 points in six group matches.
The Scorpions will use the upcoming months to prepare themselves ready for the continent’s bi-annual biggest football showpiece.
It could be recalled that The Gambia were eliminated in the quarter-finals of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations after losing to Cameroon 2-0.
