GAF, City Girls demoted to Women’s 2nd Division

The Gambia Armed Forces and City Girls female teams have been relegated to The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Women’s League Division Two after finishing second to bottom and bottom-place on the Women's top flight league table.

The duo were demoted to the country’s Second Tier after losing their final league matches.

The Gambia Armed Forces lost to Immigration FC 3-2 in the all- security derby match played at the Late Ousman Saho Football Field in Old Yundum on Saturday.
City Girls slipped to Brikama United 4-2 at the Bakau Mini Stadium on the same day.
The Gambia Armed Forces finished second-place from bottom on the women's top flight league with 10 points in 18 league matches.
City Girls finished bottom-place on the country’s top flight league table with 8 points after 18 league games.
