ECOWAS Commission prexy applauds Morocco after U-20 World Cup triumph

President of ECOWAS Commission, Dr Omar Alieu Touray, has congratulated Morocco after lifting the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup trophy.

Dr Touray also congratulated His Majesty King Mohammed VI and people of Morocco for their nation's historic victory at the global cadet biggest football showpiece.

He underscored the remarkable achievement reflects Morocco’s dedication to sports development and the Kingdom’s continuous investment in nurturing young talent.

Dr Touray described the victory as a testament to skill, discipline and promising potential of Moroccan football.

ECOWAS celebrated this milestone, while extending its best wish for continuous success to Moroccan football in future competitions.
