Sports Journalists Association (SJAG) last month organised presidential debate for candidates at the Paradise Suits Hotel.
Speaking to Eye Africa TV, Jammeh said his team declined to participate because proper procedures were not followed.
Colonel Jammeh stated that SJAG organised presidential debate without formally informing the body overseeing the election.
He further stated that any debate related to the GFF elections should be conducted with the Electoral Committee's knowledge and involvement.
