BST beat league leaders to close gap

Babucarr Steve Trawally Galaxy, fondly called BST Galaxy defeated Today Makes Tomorrow (TMT) FC to close the gap on them at the top of the table standing during their week 30 fixture played on Wednesday.

BST Galaxy FC defeated TMT FC 1-0 during a game played at the KG5 Mini Stadium in Banjul.

Lamin Sarr scored the game’s only goal in the 60th minute.

The win maintains BST Galaxy at 2nd position with 56 points, three points behind leaders TMT who sit at the top of the league with 59 points.

Bombada FC thrashed Kuteh Jombulu 4-0 at the Soma Mini Stadium.

Ousman Sanno opened the scoring for Bombada FC in the 38th minute. Sam Pierre Senghore, Salifu Sambou and Lamin Sambou extended the score-line in the 47th, 80th and 86th minutes respectively.

The triumph put Bombada FC on 8th position with 45 points, while Kuteh Jombulu occupy 18th position with 19 points.  

Kanifing East defeated Immigration 3-0 at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.

Sheriff Moriwai guided Kanifing East to victory after scoring all three goals (hat-trick) in the 5th, 36th and 40th minutes respectively.

Kanifing East now moved to 6th position with 47 points, while Immigration sit 10th position with 39 points.

Latrikunda United beat Gunjur United 1-0 at the Bakau Mini Stadium.

Ebrima Jatta’s strike in the 72nd minute was all but enough to earn Latrikunda United the victory.

The result moves Latrikunda United to 12th position with 38 points, while Gunjur United occupy 13th position.
