Bombada win in GFF 2nd Division League

Bombada recorded a vital win during their week-14 fixtures of the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Second Division League played on Tuesday.

Bombada defeated Immigration 3-0 during a game played at the Late Ousman Saho Field in Old Yundum.

Salifu Sambou opened the scoring for Bombada in the 13th minute before Lamin Sambou doubled their lead in the 22nd minute. Lamin Tamba made it a comfortable 3-0 win with his 90+5 minute strike.

The victory moved Bombada to 9th position with 17 points while Immigration occupy 7th position with 20 points.

Elsewhere, TMT beat Medical FC 3-2 during a game played at the Banjul Mini Stadium.

TMT FC scored their goals through Modou Lamin Camara, Santa Jassey and Yahya Ndong in the 13th, 32nd and 90+3 minutes while Medical FC scored their goals through Lawrence Mendy’s brace in the 6th and 47th minutes respectively.

The win puts TMT on 3rd position with 26 points while Medical occupy 10th position with 17 points.  

Elite United defeated the Gambia Ports Authority (GPA) 1-0 during a game played at the Live Your Dreams Sports Academy in Basori.

Sarjo Fofana scored the only goal of the match for Elite United in the 85th minute.

The win moved Elite United at 2nd position with 27 points while GPA dropped to 6th position with 21 points.

Meanwhile, Hart FC played a 1-1 draw against Kanifing East during a game played at the Soma Mini Stadium.

Alasan Saidy scored for Hart FC in the 19th minute while Ebrima Sanyang leveled matters for Kanifing East in 26th minute.

The result puts Hart FC at 12th position with 15 points while Kanifing East sit 8th position with 18 points.
