Balor Sarr bang GPA to convalesce in 2nd Tier after Samger, Wallidan conquers

Ballor Sarr on Wednesday thumped The Gambia Ports Authority 4-2 in their week-three encounter played at the Brikama Box Bar Mini Stadium to recover in the 2024\2025 Gambia Football Federation (GFF) Division Two League after slipping to Samger and Wallidan in their opening league outings.

The Faraba Banta based-team lost to Samger 2-1 in their opening league match before slipping to Wallidan 1-0 in their second league match.

Ballor Sarr, who needed the maximum points against The Gambia Ports Authority to move away from the relegation zone, dominated the match and crafted goal scoring opportunities.

The Faraba Banta based-team scored four goals during the match to earn a convincing victory over The Gambia Ports Authority.

The Gambia Ports Authority netted two goals in the match, which eventually proved to be a consolation for them.

The victory earns Balor Sarr tenth-place on the country’s Second Tier table with 3 points.

The Gambia Ports Authority now sit third-place from bottom on the Second Division League table with a point after three league outings.
