Bakery Jatta’s Hamburg misses promotion to German Bundersliga

Gambian striker Bakery Jatta’s Hamburg Football Club has missed promotion to the German Bundersliga after finishing fourth-place in the country’s second tier standing with 54 points.

Jatta’s club missed promotion to the German elite league following their 5-1 home defeat to Sandhausen in the final match of the country’s 2019-2020 second tier season.

He and his club will now go back to the drawing board to prepare themselves ready for next season after missing promotion to the German Bundersliga.

Meanwhile, Gambian prolific striker Assan Ceesay’s Osnabruck stayed in the German second tier for another season after finishing two places above the demotion zone in the league standings.
