Ablie Jallow scores twice in RFC Seraing defeat to Westerlo

Scorpions midfielder, Ablie Jallow scored twice during his Belgian side, RFC Seraing 4-3 away defeat to Westerlo in their week-sixteen fixtures of the Belgian First Division B (second Division) played at the Het Kuipje on Sunday.

The 22-year-old gave his side the lead in the first half after scoring a brace in the 19th and 39th minutes.

Ange-Freddy Plumain, Tuur Dierckx, Igor Vetokele and Atabey Cicek scored for the home team (Westerlo), while Marcos Maydana scored RFC Seraing third goal in the 69th minute.

The goals were the second and third for the Gambian international after eleven games for the Seraing base side.

‘Germano’ as he is fondly called joined the Belgian First Division B Side Royal Football Club Seraing (RFC Seriang) on loan for one year from French Ligue 1 side Metz FC last year in August.

The Bundung-born player has eight caps for The Gambia senior national team, scoring two goals so far.

The former Real de Banjul and Generation Foot player is playing an integral in The Gambia AFCON qualifiers under coach Tom Saintfiet.
