The nonagenarian, who despite his age, is all smiles whilst he is being showered with tributes by friends and family and flanked by loved ones, including his charming wife, our dear sister and forever friend, Bertha Coron.
The occasion, as we are informed, is a wonderful one, and being celebrated in God’s peace and love.
We do vividly recall that he has been a loyal and much-loved leader, with an immense capacity for friendship.
Formidable and demanding, yet unstintingly supportive of his colleagues, Francis Mboge has always been during his entire public service career.
In all truth, he did not just run an efficient Secretary General’s office, but he was genuinely very caring of all the people who worked under him in the President’s office as he was very conscious of their individual respective circumstances.
Besides, Francis has always been someone with an immense heart, huge charm and also a great ability to inspire and lead people.
In so being, he thus inspired a sense of admiration, respect and affection in his many and diverse groups of friends and returned it to them in equal measure.
No matter just how many of the people he has worked with in different roles, they were clearly also people who would become personally friends with him.
In short, people would just always stay in his orbit.
Needless to state that his ability to build strong, trusting relationships also helped to cement his reputation as a consummate public service operator par excellence.
As such, he was able to set the highest standards and always challenged us to meet them.
But, above all, Francis Mboge has always been a man of quiet and pleasant disposition, a perfect gentleman whose wonderful and illuminating smiles we will continue to cherish and indeed for a very long time.
In short, he has also been widely known to be an easy and cheerful worker to get along with.
We have always known him as a most helpful and kind individual. Always ready and willing to go the extra mile.
A true friend of all the world.
So we join many others (far and near) to wish him all the best on the important milestone reached today.
We will therefore simply say to our former boss, Francis Mboge, Happy 90th birthday. 🥳 🎂
