NSGA hosts online community platform

Jan 19, 2024, 12:39 PM

Having touched on the lives of many people in the past, Nova Scotia Gambia Association (NSGA) is hosting online community platforms that brings together influential past and present members, volunteers, peer health educators, teacher coordinators, representatives from member organisations among others, to share ideas and experiences about the organisation.

The platform is also set to present opportunities and possible means of collaborating with the NSGA to advance its mandate.

The platform would serve as a means of connecting all the people that have worked for and/or were engaged with NSGA or are still connected to the organisation in different ways in order to come up with means of ensuring they volunteer in supporting the cause and legacy of the organisation.

In order to achieve this, the organisation is calling on all the alumni as well as present members of NSGA to join the Alumni Platform as a way of giving back to the organisation.

“NSGA will rely on your dedication and contribution to the successful running and sustainability of this platform,” it said while inviting both past and present members of the organisation to join the platform and stay connected and inspired.

Nova Scotia Gambia (NSGA) has been in existence for over three decades, working with communities and schools on Peer Health programs to help empower youth to live healthier and sustainable lives and growing to establish democratic and gender equitable societies. Since its inception, the organisation has worked with dozens of people across The Gambia and Canada.
