The training to be held at the school ground every Sunday is geared towards ensuring that women and youth are empowered to be self employed and sustainable in a view to complementing government effort.
Speaking to trainees during the opening, Njie Charakh informed participants that selling is part of business, saying he will bring various materials to the ground to show them how buying and selling is done.
“I will teach you everything I know about business but also learn from you,” he told them. He informed them that he may not be able to give them startup capital but will approach people he know can on their behalf.
However, he urged them to pay up their loans after their sales. He appealed to government for a market for women.
He also urged participants to make best use of the knowledge to begained during the training to ensure their businesses do not fail.
He highlighted that there is a way to sell to someone.“Someone with money will come to your business but do not want to buy. Someone without money will also come as well as someone with money who want to buy.You should be professional in dealing with each of them to ensure they do not leave yourshopwithout buying something from you,” he also told participants.
The businessman and philanthropist told participants that once they have the business idea, they can start with small capital and make profit that will ensure they become great businessmen and women.“You just need to believe in yourself.”
“I will do everything within my powers to ensure your businesses are a success,” he assured them.
