Meet Jay O’Jay, Gambian-US rap star, drops new video on New Year’s Day

Since the recent release of his latest single ‘Yekh Si Na’, which is making its rounds on airwaves, rap star Jay O’ Jay has observed that he has the stamina to make a head way as far as music is concerned.

Though not much is known about this rising star before the release of this masterpiece, one thing for sure is that he is a new surprising rapper in town.

The Dallas, Texas-based sensation is currently working on the release of ‘Yekh Si Na’ music video, which is set for January 1st -New Year’s Day.

Off recent, this young exceptional songwriter and musician has managed to capture the hearts and minds of many, thereby moving any crowd in front of him. His new freestyle titled-‘Dohal Ak Teyy’, which went viral on social media, cements his stance as an emerging force in the world of music.

To sum it up, his latest single ‘Yekh Si Na’, is liked by Gambians and also being downloaded by a lot of fans around the world.

Commenting on the new development, Jay O’jay stated; “With ‘Yekh Si Na’, I wanted to reintroduce myself to The Gambia and music lovers. I wanted to get everyone’s attention from my looks to my lyrics and my flow. With my music and this video, I want people to know that there is a new rapper in town who is quite different from the rest.”

However, what makes this rapper stand out is his unique stage appearance singing while concealing his face, so to say his identity.

“My unique style of wearing a face mask and hiding my identity is what keeps music lovers to find out more about me.” His videos are currently available on his YouTube channel Jay O’jay The Outsider.

Will he reveal his face in his new ‘Yekh si Na video clip? That is something we will have to wait to see on New Year's Day.
