Gambian Embassy in Mauritania receives Serigne Fallu Mbacke

Sheikh Omar Faye, Gambian ambassador to Mauritania and his staff have received Serigne Fallu Mbacke, the grandson of Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba, affectionately known as Serigne Touba.

Serigne Fallu Mbacke, the grandson of Khadimul Rassoul stopped by the embassy of The Gambia in Mauritania and prayed for His Excellency Adama Barrow and the entire Ummah.

“On behalf of His Excellency President Adama Barrow, the staff at the Gambia Embassy, our families, the community and all Gambians, we wish our brothers and sisters a safe and successful Maggal,” Ambassador Faye.

During pleasantries with Ambassador Faye, Serigne Fallu congratulated His Excellency the President and all Gambians for the Chairmanship of the OIC. He praised Gambians for being very hospitable and accommodating.

Ambassador Faye thanked him for the visit and extended greetings from His Excellency, President Barrow.

He further informed Serigne Fallu that Senegal and The Gambia are two countries but the same families. He reassured him of always encouraging “our communities to always live in peace, love, patience and understanding.”
