The Alkalo of Bafuloto village has renewed his call for plot owners, who legally acquired plots of land in his village to start developing their plots.

Mustapha Ceesay was speaking to The Point in an exclusive recently.

He observed that most of these lands are located around the border between Bafuloto and Bajang Kunda respectively.

Ceesay revealed that there has been a surge in the number people who legally acquired land, claiming that their lands are being illegally sold to other people without his knowledge.

A letter shared with The Point reads: “I have been receiving complaints of people’s documented plots being illegally sold to different individuals without my knowledge. On that note, you are all urged to develop your plots in order to avoid the reoccurrence of such disheartening act,” he stated.

He equally warned all those involved in this illegal and unscrupulous act to desist with immediate effect.

In the same vein, those buying plots of land are duly advised to follow the due procedure to avoid misunderstanding.
