The Unite Movement for Change will hold its first National Congress and a grand public rally on Saturday, May 16, the party has announced.
The National Congress is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. at the Paradise Hotel. It marks six months since the movement’s official launch. Delegates from all regions and constituencies across The Gambia are expected to attend and elect the party’s National Executive members.
Later the same day, the party will host a grand rally at the Buffer Zone starting at 5:00 p.m. The rally is open to supporters and members of the public.
“This is a proud moment for the Unite Movement and for all Gambians committed to integrity, transformation, and equality,” the party said in a statement.
