Trust Bank donates medical items worth D200K to Bansang Hospital

Officials said the donation is aimed at complementing the efforts of the government in improving the country’s health care especially at Bansang Hospital.

Beneficiary said the donated item was among the challenges they were encountering, hence the medical items is expected to enhance the hospital’s ability to provide better care to its patients, particularly in critical areas such as maternal health, and emergency care.

The handing over ceremony, which took place at the Bansang Hospital, was attended by senior representatives from Trust Bank and the hospital management.

Omar Mboob, who was speaking on behalf of the Trust Bank Managing Director, said: “The donation is a reflection of our dedication to ensuring that the hospital has the resources it needs to continue delivering vital services.” 

“Our contributions have always been guided by a simple but powerful belief that health care is one of the cornerstones of a thriving community. Therefore, Trust Bank is  committed to supporting it in every way we can,” he postulated.

The donation of the D200,000, he said, “has been specifically allocated for items identified in consultation with the hospital management, ensuring that our support is directly aligned with the hospital’s most urgent needs.”

 Mboob added: “At Trust Bank, we understand the importance of working closely with institutions like Bansang Hospital, as it ensures that our support is not only meaningful but also impactful.”

“We take pride in knowing that our contribution will be used in ways that directly enhance the health care services provided to the people of this region.”

He further assured Trust Bank’s continued partnership with Bansang Hospital with the objective of working towards a healthier and stronger Gambia.
