The Fatwa and Moonsighting Committee the Gambia Supreme Islamic Council (GSIC), has announced that Friday, June 6, 2025 will be celebrated as first day of Eid Al-Adha commonly known as ‘Tobaski’.

“On this occasion, The Gambia Supreme Islamic Council congratulates His Excellency the President, Mr Adama Barrow, asking Allah to accept good deeds of everyone and to return the Eid to the Islamic Ummah with blessings and goodness.”
