The book he co-authored with Francesco Moglianesi, an Italian author and cinematographer will be launched on Friday 13th January 2023 at The Gambia Tourism and Hospitality Institute in Kanifing at 3:00 PM.
A day later, Saturday 14th January, a Stepdown launching will be held in Manduar village of Kiang West District in the Lower River Region (LRR).
The book was first launched in Europe in February 2022.
The book explains a journey seeking a brighter future, the one Musa Darboe experienced along the migrant routes from the village through pick-up trucks on the Sahara desert to the Mediterranean Sea.
In Italy, Mr Darboe's journey turned into a story of integration marked by a strong commitment to voluntary work and the social life of a town in Le Marche region. Today he lives in Sweden where he intends to resume his studies to become a lawyer.
