The mosque committee members, such as Momodou Senghore, appreciated Takaful Insurance's thoughtful gesture, saying it would go a long way in keeping the mosque environment clean.
“The donation will contribute to keeping the mosque clean and tidy,” he added.
In his remarks, Ndenneh Senghore, operation manager at Takaful Insurance, said donating to the Pipeline Mosque is part of Takaful Insurance's corporate social responsibility and an “act of worship as an Islamic organization”.
He added that the donation was a viable support to the mosque's community work and a continuation of their partnership.
He advised mosque users and passersby to use the dustbins properly and take care of them so they last longer.
"Let's throw rubbish in the bins and keep our environment clean," he said, adding: “Takaful Insurance has donated quality dustbins, and the mosque committee will maintain them well, given their track record with previous donations.”
