Reflecting on the founding vision of the NPP, President Barrow stated: “This is a party conceived not only for the people, but by the people, irrespective of age, gender, or background. We promised to build a party that could belong to everyone, today that promise stands fulfilled.”
“Since its foundation a few years ago, the NPP has rapidly expanded its reach across the country and beyond. With strong backing from generations of Gambians, the party has aimed to transform every facet of national life from infrastructure to education, from governance to technology.
“Under the NPP government, over 1,000 kilometers of roads have been constructed in both rural and urban areas of Gambia, including significant projects. Remote communities have seen tangible improvements: electricity access, clean water supply for humans and livestock, and the establishment of thousands of waterhouse landfills,” he said.
He elaborated that the party has also positioned itself as a forerunner in technology and innovation. “We are not just building roads; we are building the future.”
“The NPP has introduced cutting-edge technologies for border development and communications, including advanced administrative and communication software systems. Efforts are also underway to deactivate outdated sensitive communication protocols, replacing them with secure, modern systems.
