The healthcare personnel that were engaged were enlightened on issues such as such people’s rights to testing, counselling, treatment, confidentiality and non-discrimination etc.
The aim was to accelerate and strengthen access to treatment for persons living with HIV, who are often victims of discrimination, stigmatisation, societal castigation and the like, which often makes their lives miserable.
