“I officially named the estate ‘ KMC Beno/Cambengo Estate’ to symbolize the unity and team work by KMC staff that made this possible,” Mr. Bensouda writes on his official Facebook page.
“The plot sizes uniformly consisting of 20 meters by 20 meters service plots are located in Kitty, Brikama, less than 100 meters away from the Jabang-Brikama highway.”
“This wonderful initiative took team work, unity and cooperation and I want to first thank the Staff who participated, the Staff Welfare Executives lead by Modou Njie (President) and Bolong Badgie (VP), the administration Led by Jaja Cham (Director of Administration) and the Cllr’s of KM!”
“I challenged the welfare to ensure they organised plots for the remaining 1225 staff of KMC and to work with my office to create an affordable housing program that develops the plots into standard homes.”
