Meanwhile President Macky Sall has visited hospitals as the country’s covid-19 situation has been critical since last month, with many people losing their lives.
It was reported that there was no space for patients in the hospitals as people were forced to wear masks or face the full force of the law.
From March last year to date, 58,523 positive cases have been registered and 45,768 patients have recovered with 1,300 deaths, with 11, 454 patients under treatment.
