They were received by Ousainu Darboe, Lamin Manneh, deputy secretary for External Affairs and the Diaspora, and Mr. Almamy Taal, the Party’s spokesperson.
The two parties discussed a host of issues of common interest ranging from the draft constitution, the FGM bill currently before the National Assembly, the political situation prevailing in the country, the upcoming 2026 presidential elections and a few other issues of mutual interest.
At the end of the cordial and fruitful discussions which lasted for an hour, H.E King and H.E. Darboe agreed to meet regularly to exchange views on matters high on the agenda of the two parties.
