First, he said GMP was not given a speaking slot at the Brikama SSP rally despite being the "deal breaker" as runner-up in the flagbearer election on August 8, 2026. He said a non-coalition member was instead given a slot above coalition party leaders, which was "belittling" to GMP.
Second, he accused UNITE Party supporters of portraying Coalition 2026 as only a UNITE struggle, presenting Bensouda as a UNITE flagbearer rather than a Coalition flagbearer for the December 5, 2026 presidential election, without clarification from UNITE leadership.
Third, Yaffa alleged that the flagbearer would inform the Governing Council of meetings planned in villages or towns without prior discussion and approval, violating internal democracy and collective decision-making provisions of the coalition agreement and MoU.
Fourth, he said the Coalition failed to ensure Bensouda suspended his UNITE Party membership and took an oath of office on August 8, violating the undertaking.
Yaffa said GMP contributed to 16 weeks of negotiations that led to the flagbearer election and wished the Coalition success.
