This year’s trade fair by The Gambia’s private sector apex body is billed to bring to the Smiling Coast of Africa topnotch entrepreneurs from across the world.Saul Frazer, board chairman of the Gambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), stated that entrepreneurs from Africa, Asia and Europe are expected to attend this year's international trade fair.

Mr Frazer, who was speaking yesterday during the launching of the 17th edition of the Trade Fair Gambia International (TFGI) at the chamber’s Brusubi office, said: “This year's trade fair promises an even more remarkable turnout than before, with an expectation of 500 stalls, including entrepreneurs from across the ECOWAS regions, Europe, and Asia. The stakes are higher, the opportunities broader, and our commitment unwavering.”

The GCCI board chair further said that the TFGI is not just an event; rather it is an intersection of aspiration, innovation, and opportunity that nurtures an environment for businesses to flourish, regardless of their size or sector.

“As we launch this grand event, let us remind ourselves that success favours the prepared,” Mr Frazer avers, saying: “Stalls will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Seize this moment to be part of a transformation experience.”

The TFGI is the leading business exhibition in the country that creates a platform for enterprises to grip and publicise their interests and benefits to the public and to partner with and invest in achievable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from various sectors.

The TFGI will be held at the Trade Fair Ground in Brusubi, for the third time.
